WHAT IS ROCKSCOOL?

RocksCool is a music education programme that provides music tuition taught by working musicians, group rehearsals, performance experience, and branded merchandise for students between the ages of seven and eighteen. We provide a rock music programme for children (called Little Rock) and  a method of teaching students through performing in front of a paying audience in a real rock venue.

HOW LONG HAS ROCKSCOOL BEEN ESTABLISHED?

RocksCool was set up in February 2007, we have had our 15th birthday and this makes us  one of the longest running in the UK.

​

I DON'T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT,DOES THAT MATTER?

​

Not at all,we have an excellent Learn to play..Play to learn structure which is delivered with fantastic results.We have an excellent accredited training programme & we also offer RGT Guitar Grades LCM exams & Arts Award

HOW MUCH IS IT TO ATTEND A ROCKSCOOL SESSION?

​

£10.00 per 90 minute session over 13 weeks with a Showcase at the end of each full term (£10.00 x 13 = £130.00 per course) 

We have found that this is the optimum time you should spend in this setting,with 13 years experience delivering RocksCool,we dont feel thats its right to charge you for a 2 hr 30min session when you are then paying for tutors breaks...Over 2000 sessions cant be wrong.

IS THERE A SHOW FOR PARENTS TO SEE THE PROGRESS STUDENTS HAVE MADE?

We have had some memorable nights and performed live 50 times at the O2 Academy

and we have some very exciting plans for 2023/24

​

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY OWN INSTRUMENT?

​

No,we have everything you need to Rock! We can even help you with making the decision if your unsure what to buy.

CAN I GET A DISCOUNT IF MORE THAN ONE FAMILY MEMBER ATTENDS?

​

Yes indeed,we offer a 10% Family Discount Scheme on everything from fees,to tshirts and tickets.

WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T LIKE IT?

​

If for some unforseen reason it turns out your child isnt a little rocker,simply give us 30 days notice.

Any unused payments in execss of the 30 day notice period will be returned to you in full.
